We're seeking a Senior Health & Safety Manager to lead strategic and operational safety across complex, high-voltage projects. This is a senior leadership role with significant influence, driving innovation and fostering a culture of inclusion and wellbeing. In this role, you will set the strategic H&S direction across a major portfolio of work, take ownership of building and developing your own Health & Safety team, and play a pivotal role in shaping our safety culture.
What you'll do
* Champion our Inclusion + Wellbeing approach to safety.
* Set and deliver strategic health & safety objectives.
* Oversee risk assessments for high-voltage environments.
* Lead investigations and promote learning from success.
* Collaborate with National Grid, regulators, and stakeholders.
* Drive adoption of cutting-edge safety technologies.
What we're looking for
* Level 6 qualification and professional membership.
* Expertise in occupational health, environmental, and safety risk management.
* Experience in power infrastructure projects and HV electrical safety.
* Strong leadership, influencing, and communication skills.
