Our people are at the heart of everything we do—and now we are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Resourcer to join our Talent Acquisition team, part of the wider People Services Team, playing a vital role in attracting passionate, skilled professionals who will make a real difference to the lives of children and young people, based in our head office in Salisbury.
About the Role
As an experienced Talent Acquisition Resourcer, you will be instrumental in ensuring our services are staffed with exceptional talent. Working closely with Talent Acquisition & People Services Manager and Hiring Managers, you will proactively identify, engage, and nurture high-quality candidates across a range of roles, including Residential Support Workers, Teachers, Therapists, Social Workers, and corporate support staff. This is a fast-paced, varied role where no two days are the same—ideal for someone who thrives in a purpose-driven organisation and is confident building meaningful candidate relationships.
This is a full‑time role working 37 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 9-5pm and 9am -16:30 on Fridays; however, some level of flexibility is required to meet the needs of the candidates applying for the roles. You will need to be in the office a minimum of two days per week.
Responsibilities
* Proactively source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, CV databases, and talent pools.
* Screen and engage prospective candidates to assess suitability and alignment with our values.
* Support end‑to‑end recruitment campaigns, ensuring timely updates and excellent candidate experience.
* Build pipelines of talent for high‑volume and hard‑to‑fill roles.
* Maintain accurate and compliant candidate records on the ATS.
* Collaborate with Hiring Managers to understand workforce needs and recruitment priorities.
* Promote Five Rivers’ employer brand through engaging online content and outreach.
* Support recruitment events and attraction initiatives.
Required Skills
* Strong sourcing skills and experience using LinkedIn, CV databases, and social platforms.
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* A proactive, solutions‑focused approach to finding great talent.
* Passion for social care, education, or purpose‑led work is a strong advantage.
Experience
Proven experience in a fast‑paced recruitment or resourcing role (agency or in‑house).
