About the Opportunity The Engineering & Technical Facilities Manager will oversee the maintenance and operational integrity of buildings and infrastructure across all sites in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) region. This role ensures that facilities operate efficiently, reliably, and in compliance with safety/legislative standards, while upholding Driscoll’s core values of humility, passion, and trustworthiness. Responsibilities In this role, you combine strategic oversight with hands-on leadership. You ensure business continuity, compliance and performance across facilities operations, while leading teams and stakeholders towards efficient and future-ready solutions. Facilities Maintenance & Operations Lead preventive and corrective maintenance programs for buildings and technical installations Ensure compliance of all systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing) with regulatory and safety standards Manage the EMEA maintenance budget and drive cost optimisation Lead sustainability and energy-reduction initiatives, supporting Scope 2 reduction and the journey to Net Zero 2032 Project & Investment Management Lead engineering and maintenance projects across EMEA, delivered on time, within scope and budget Develop and manage a 3–5 year facilities and capital investment plan Identify and implement opportunities to improve performance, reliability and efficiency Leadership & Collaboration Lead, develop and engage Maintenance & Engineering teams across the EMEA region Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement Assess capability needs and implement targeted training and development plans Safety, Standards & Quality Champion health & safety in close collaboration with H&S teams Conduct audits and risk assessments to ensure safe working environments Develop, implement and maintain Driscoll’s facilities and engineering standards Candidate Profile You are a people-oriented technical leader with a strong sense of ownership and a collaborative mindset. You combine engineering expertise with strategic thinking and are comfortable operating in a multi-site, multicultural environment. Proven experience in Engineering and/or Facilities Management Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations, with a people-first approach Demonstrated ability to manage projects, budgets and vendor relationships transparently Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Proactive, solution-driven and energised by continuous improvement Willingness to travel regularly across the EMEA region
