About the Role
Our client, a leading US law firm in Central London is seeking a talented Private Equity Associate (1–3PQE) to join a dynamic team advising on complex, cross-border transactions for leading private equity sponsors and portfolio companies. This is an opportunity to work on headline deals, gain international exposure, and develop your career within a high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Advise on private equity transactions, including leveraged buyouts, public-to-private deals, and strategic acquisitions
* Draft and negotiate SPAs, investment agreements, shareholder arrangements, and other key documents
* Manage multi-jurisdictional deal teams, liaising with local counsel and coordinating across global offices
* Engage directly with clients and contribute to business development initiatives
* Support junior team members and participate in training and know-how development
What We’re Looking For
* 1–3 years’ PQE in private equity or high-end M&A, ideally from a leading international or US law firm
* Strong technical skills in drafting, negotiation, and project management
* Commercial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
* Interest in cross-border transactions and exposure to complex deal structures
* Outstanding academic credentials and a commitment to excellence
