Residential Care Assistant - 21 hours per week
Nexxus care is currently recruiting for care assistants to join the team at Bracken House, Burntwood.
* Work in a 34-bedded residential care home.
* No experience required; full training and ongoing support provided.
* Focus on person-centred care for residents, especially those living with dementia.
Responsibilities
* Assist residents with personal care (washing, bathing, dressing).
* Support residents at mealtimes, ensuring dietary needs are met.
* Follow individual care plans and maintain clear documentation.
* Encourage and participate in activities for residents, creating enjoyable moments.
This role is ideal for someone compassionate, patient, and motivated to support residents, even if they are new to care work. It combines meaningful work, structured support, and real opportunities for growth.
