Quickparts is hiring a Quality Technician to perform critical quality control activities on components manufactured both in-house and through external suppliers. This is a highly dynamic, hands-on role where you will work with a wide range of production technologies—including 3D printing, vacuum casting, CNC machining, injection molding, sheet metal processing, and die-casting. You will ensure that prototype and low-volume parts meet technical specifications, customer requirements, and compliance standards. Additionally, you will manage vital quality documentation and act as a key interface with customers and suppliers on quality-related matters. As a Quality Technician, you will: ✔ Ensure product conformity for complex prototypes and low-volume components ✔ Act as a key interface with customers and suppliers on quality matters ✔ Manage and maintain critical quality documentation and records ✔ Drive continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives ✔ Uphold strict compliance with ISO 9001 quality management systems What You’ll Do Perform dimensional and visual inspections on prototype and low-volume components using traditional tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and advanced systems (CMM, 3D scanning) Verify product conformity with drawings, specifications, tolerances, and aesthetic requirements Prepare and maintain measurement reports, FAI / PPAP documentation, Certificates of Conformity, and other quality records Manage and update quality system documentation in compliance with ISO 9001 (mandatory) and IATF 16949, including internal audits, nonconformities, and corrective actions Conduct quality checks at external suppliers and support supplier qualification processes Investigate and manage internal, supplier, and customer nonconformities using structured problem-solving tools (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa) Provide technical support to customers on quality-related topics and manage claims or corrective action requests Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Program Management, and Sales teams to ensure consistent quality standards Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes and the quality management system Travel occasionally to supplier and customer sites What We’re Looking For Technical diploma (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Materials, Quality) or equivalent degree 2–5 years of experience in quality within manufacturing, preferably in prototyping, low-volume production, or automotive sectors Strong knowledge of dimensional inspection techniques and measurement tools Ability to read and understand technical drawings and GD&T Understanding of key manufacturing technologies (Additive Manufacturing, Vacuum Casting, CNC Machining, Injection Molding, Sheet Metal, Die-Casting) Familiarity with PPAP, FAI, DFMEA, PFMEA, and automotive-quality procedures Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements and auditing practices (IATF 16949 is a plus) Proficiency with Office tools and quality/ERP/MES systems for documentation and reporting Analytical problem-solving mindset with a strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills and fluent English (minimum B2 level) Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-technology environment Why You’ll Love It Here Direct access to cross-functional teams and leadership Real ownership — your work shapes the quality of cutting-edge prototypes High-growth, global organization with a fast-paced, multi-technology environment Complex technical challenges and continuous learning opportunities Strong culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Competitive compensation Celebrate Your Strengths!
