Responsibilities
* Test and analyse components, raw materials, bulk, CIP samples, water systems and finished product following cGLP, cGMP, health and safety, SOPs and regulatory requirements.
* Deliver high customer service to all customers by testing components, raw materials, bulk and finished product efficiently and timely.
* Process, maintain and archive QC documentation accurately and completely.
* Establish performance/development goals and maintain training records.
* Monitor and purchase laboratory consumables, ensuring availability for timely testing.
* Ensure performance of instrument maintenance and calibration checks.
* Assist with the method transfer process and with qualification studies on existing and new methods.
Qualifications
* Ideally a degree in a relevant discipline and/or position‑specific experience.
* Working laboratory experience, preferably prior, or through education.
* Pharmaceutical experience operating to regulatory standards is desirable.
* Understanding of cGMP/GLP/Regulatory/Health and safety; desirable.
* Good knowledge of laboratory instrumentation (FT‑IR, UV‑Vis, HPLC, TOC, DSC).
* A good communicator, team worker, with the ability to deliver high performance standards relating to quality, safety, cost and customer service.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to follow procedures and processes closely.
* Reports To: Michael Cox, Chemistry Team Leader.
