Powered Access Engineer : Workshop
Salary: GBP 38,000
Location: Leicester
Hours: Monday to Friday days
Overtime paid at 1.5
My client is a global supplier of Powered Access machinery and due to their continued success they are now looking for a skilled workshop engineer to join their ever growing team.
The Role
: Inspect, service, repair and refurbish MEWPs to manufacturer and statutory standards
: Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
: Carry out scheduled maintenance, pre:delivery inspections and function testing
: Install accessories, retrofit kits and safety devices
: Complete job cards and inspection records accurately
: Liaise with workshop management, parts and field engineers
: Work in line with HSE, LOLER, PUWER and company safety procedures
What We're Looking For
: Experience working on MEWPs or similar mobile plant
: Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault:finding skills
: Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
: Team:focused with good communication skills
: Full UK driving licence and own basic hand tools
Desirable
: Engineering qualifications (NVQ, City and Guilds or equivalent)
: IPAF, CAP 1b, diesel engine diagnostics experience
: Forklift or telehandler licence
