Job title: Geoenvironmental Consultant
Location: Lincoln
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
An established environmental and ground engineering consultancy in Lincoln is looking to take on a Geoenvironmental Consultant to support the delivery of a varied portfolio of site investigation and land quality projects. This role offers the chance to work on technically interesting sites while developing your skills within a supportive and experienced team.
You will be involved in projects from initial desk study through to remediation and validation, working across sectors including residential, commercial, infrastructure, and redevelopment.
Key responsibilities:
Producing Phase 1 Desk Studies and Preliminary Risk Assessments
Supporting Phase 2 site investigations and supervising site works
Soil, groundwater, and gas monitoring and sampling
Interpreting laboratory data and contributing to interpretative reports
Undertaking quantitative and qualitative risk assessments
Assisting with remediation strategy design and validation reporting
Liaising with clients, contractors, and regulatorsWhat we're looking for:
Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Geoenvironmental Engineering, or a related discipline
Experience in land quality and contaminated land projects (graduate to mid-level considered)
Factual and interpretative report writing experience
Familiarity with UK guidance such as CLR11, BS10175, and EA frameworks
Strong written and verbal communication skills
