We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the recently developed SCOPE team based in Perth city centre. The SCOPE team provides assessment, support and intervention to individuals with complex Learning Disabilities and/or Autism. You will function as a core member of the wider Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care LD Community Team. This post is currently based within Pullar House, Perth and covers the geographical location of Perth and Kinross. The SCOPE team has a generic AHP support worker whom you will have direct supervisory responsibilities for. You will have extensive experience working with individuals with complex presentations and a firm knowledge of sensory integration and housing design and adaptation. Candidates must demonstrate evidence of excellent clinical reasoning skills and an advanced ability to manage own caseload. You should have the ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate strong leadership skills but also be able to work autonomously. Within Tayside we actively support the NMAHP Development Framework both locally and within the AHP Directorate with regular clinical supervision and peer support systems in place.
