Hays are currently supporting an exciting Retail and Manufacturingpany within the creative industry based in Birmingham City Centre. They are looking to recruit on a 3-6 month basis for an Accounts Payable Clerk. This role is office based with flexi-time.
Your new role
1. Receiving and distributing invoices via Adobe for approval
2. Maintaining a shared mailbox, actioning, and answering queries in a timely manner
3. Coding and processing invoices accurately to make sure payments are correct and on time
4. Requesting and reconciling monthly supplier statements
5. Preparing and processing payment runs
6. Working with suppliers and staff internally to answer queries
7. Supporting the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties including pulling together accruals
8. General accounts administration
9. Daily Cashbook maintaining and cashbook journals
10. Any adhoc tasks required by the AP Manager or by the business
What you'll need to succeed
- Excellentmunication skills
- Previous Accounts Payable experience
- You must be able to work onsite 5 days a week
- Previous Sage 1000 experience is desirable
