The Role As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you will: Support pupils across the primary age range, including those who face barriers to learning. Help create a positive, engaging classroom environment where every child can thrive. Assist with learning activities, adapting support to meet individual needs. Promote positive behaviour and provide encouragement to pupils. Work closely with teachers and other staff to support the progress and well-being of all learners. School hours are generally 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only. About You The ideal candidate will be: Kind, patient, and passionate about helping children succeed. Confident in supporting learning and managing behaviour effectively. Experienced in working with primary-aged children (desirable but not essential). Committed to making a positive difference to children’s education. Requirements To be considered for this role, you will need to: Have, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service. Demonstrate enthusiasm, resilience, and a genuine interest in working with children.
