Platform Property Care has a great opportunity for an Approved Electrician to join our repairs and maintenance team in a mobile role covering work in Matlock, Chesterfield and the surrounding areas. You will be joining a talented team carrying out remedial work, general maintenance, and repairs across our properties. You will thrive on giving great customer service, keeping jobs on track and ensuring the work is completed to spec. A right-first‑time mentality is required, with the customer at the centre of everything you do.
Job responsibilities
• Responsible for remedial work, general maintenance, and repairs across properties in Matlock, Chesterfield and surrounding areas.
• Maintain a mobile schedule with out-of-hours rota, working 7 days a week including Saturdays and Sundays.
• Work within customers' homes, requiring a DBS check.
• Ensure work meets 18th edition regulation and is completed to spec.
Qualifications and experience
* Served an apprenticeship in Electrical or obtained an equivalent NVQ L3 & City & Guilds L3 in Electrical installation, commissioning, and certification.
* AM2.
* City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent in testing and inspection.
* Sound experience delivering a range of electrical work and services in a domestic setting.
* Experience working for a social landlord, housing association or council.
* Experience delivering responsive repairs.
* Strong customer service skills.
* Full current valid driving licence (mobile role).
* DBS check requirement for working within customers' homes.
