Full-time: Tuesday to Friday, 9:30am–6pm and 10am–5pm on Saturdays.

Role Overview
As a Showroom Host, you are a Brand Ambassador who supports the Harvey Jones client journey and showcases our latest design innovations. Your role optimises showroom coverage in person and through diary management for Designers and Design Assistants. You will deliver first-class engagement and rapport, leading to bookings for Designers’ Discovery sessions from walk-in leads and telephone enquiries. This enables Kitchen Designers to focus on sales and design activity while ensuring production, procurement, and installation align with right-first-time objectives, minimising errors, costs, and delays.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Showroom upkeep and maintenance: ensure health & safety compliance, manage stock stationery orders and monitor supplies, maintain showroom presentation and visual props, oversee cleaner’s management and the maintenance checklist.
* Administration duties: manage client communication, filing, petty cash, and showroom diary management to ensure sales coverage; meet and greet walk-in prospective clients in the absence of a sales designer; issue reports to relevant functions/management and record them in appropriate channels (e.g., KPIs and petty cash management).
* Client engagement: provide a warm welcome to potential clients when no Kitchen Designer is present; ensure conversations align with brand guidelines and support the client journey; call customers who have requested a brochure to qualify interest and potentially arrange a Discover session with a sales designer.
* General expectations: adhere to company processes; support showroom operations to create a seamless customer experience.
Person Profile / Qualifications
* We are seeking unique individuals with previous experience in a client-facing role who can build rapport, listen to customers’ needs, and inspire confidence in the Harvey Jones brand.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan ahead.
* Well-presented, articulate, and confident when engaging with high-spending customers.
* Able to build rapport, identify selling opportunities, and influence decisions.
* Ambitious, self-motivated, and a proactive problem solver able to think creatively to find solutions.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects.
* Driver’s license and own vehicle (location-dependent).
* Available to work Saturdays.
