? We're Hiring – Buyer/ Procurement (Electrical) | Ashford, Kent
G W & E Wright Ltd is on the lookout for a Buyer to join our established and growing team based in Ashford, Kent.
If you're experienced in procurement within the electrical industry, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and love the challenge of managing multiple projects while delivering real commercial value – we want to hear from you!
? Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Processing day-to-day material orders using our preferred electrical suppliers
* Coordinating with Electricians, Supervisors, and Contracts Managers
* Managing 2nd fix kits and sequencing call-offs
* Negotiating pricing and ensuring best value from suppliers
* Recommending improvements and cost-saving measures
* Managing stock levels and conducting regular stock takes
* Overseeing invoice matching and returns
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
* Proven experience in electrical buying, including accessories, lighting, and distribution
* Strong numeracy and negotiation skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office – especially Excel
* Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
* Able to stay calm under pressure and solve problems independently
