What We Offer:
* Competitive Salary: From £40,000 to £48,000 (inclusive of shift allowance) based on experience.

* Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off) with 12-hour shifts.

Your Role:
As a Lead Mechanical Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our production machines run smoothly. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
* Lead first-line maintenance for several production machines, making operational decisions to meet targets.
* Identify and repair mechanical breakdowns on various machinery.
* Accountable for the performance of multiple machines and processes.
* Utilize diagnostic tools to uncover root causes of mechanical issues.
* Coordinate a small team of operators and temporary associates to achieve line targets.
* Assist operators with daily production tasks to ensure targets are met.
What We’re Looking For:
We want someone who is not just skilled but also passionate about mechanical maintenance. Here’s what you need:
* Minimum of 1 year’s experience managing and coordinating operators.
* Proficient in diagnosing mechanical issues using systematic troubleshooting techniques.
* Experience in disassembling and reassembling machinery to ensure optimal operation.
* A keen eye for detail to identify faults and inefficiencies.
* A commitment to ongoing improvement and collaboration within a team.
