Head of Change and Communications, Real Estate (contract)


Location

London Hybrid - travel to London office on a fortnightly basis. Travel to other Deloitte office locations may be required on an adhoc basis (e.g. Birmingham, Cardiff)

Role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Change and Communications to join our Real Estate team at Deloitte. You will be responsible for the development and execution of the change management and communications plans for all Real Estate workstreams. Reporting to the Head of UK Real Estate, you will lead all activities to develop and deliver the change and communications plan, supporting the wider Real Estate strategy. You will work across all levels of the organisation including executive leadership, Head of Workplace Strategy, Workplace Design, client project managers, PMO and key business stakeholders. You will be extensively experienced with the technical aspects of all projects and put the people experience at the heart of the strategy and approach.


Essential Skills and Experience

* Extensive Project Management expertise managing multiple projects and Change Management experience (preferably within Real Estate)

* Experience working in a large multi-disciplinary organisations including Commercial, Professional or Financial services industries

* Experience of working on large, complex change projects in Real Estate including WOW, design and engaging with people about how they will use and occupy the space

* Stakeholder management – Able to communicate with C-suite and engage with various teams to develop and implement the change plan. Highly confident working with a large number of internal/external stakeholders, capable of influencing all levels of the organisation

* Strong communications and presentation skills (written and verbal), active listening and root cause identification. Be confident with leading conversations with senior stakeholders and a link with firmwide communications including IT and workplace

* Strategic thinker with an ability to lead in new and ambiguous situations


Desirable

* Certified in Change Management - Prosci ADKAR


Responsibilities

* Change impact analysis and change intervention delivery

* Stakeholder assessment and leadership – owning key relationships with stakeholders across at senior levels

* Communication strategy and execution

* Advising leaders on their communications strategy and approach

* Alignment across firmwide programmes and strategic messages

* Change readiness assessment

* Training and development – pre, post and ongoing

* Change network strategy

* Support model development

* Leading the listening strategy

* Defining and measuring success of the change

* Leading a team of change and communication professionals, including resource and workload management

* Managing the change budget


Deliverables: Responsibilities but not limited to:

* Oversee all change and comms activity across all live Real Estate projects

* Provide guidance and advice to the Head of Real Estate

* Manage all PR and internal comms risks and opportunities

* Manage and lead the change and comms team (1-2 heads)

As a means of managing tax, commercial and reputational risks, Deloitte prohibits the use of Associates through Personal Service Companies (‘PSCs’). All Associates must contract under PAYE arrangements through a Deloitte approved ‘Employment Company’ (aka ‘umbrella company’).
