My client, an independent dealer in Northallerton, is recruiting for an experience Vehicle Damage Assessor/ Estimator to join their onsite bodyshop. You will be working with a team of professionals, liaising with the parts department to complete damage assessments and deliver great customer service as part of this process.
The client is looking for VDAs/Estimators with a good history in the role, with Audatex experience being essential. If you are confident you could fit these requirements, this could be the role for you!
The Successful VDA/Estimator will have -
7. Conduct detailed inspections of damaged vehicles to assess the extent of damage.
8. Document vehicle conditions accurately with reports and photos.
9. Evaluate repair estimates and determine necessary repairs.
10. Communicate assessment findings to customers, insurers, and repair shops.
11. Review repair estimates for accuracy and completeness.
12. Identify any additional damages that may require attention.
13. Ensure assessments comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
14. Provide recommendations for repair strategies and cost efficiencies.
15. Maintain detailed records of inspections and communications.
16. Stay updated on repair techniques, industry policies, and regulations.
17. Assist in post-repair inspections to verify quality standards.
18. Support the claims process and negotiations as needed.
19. Use specialized tools and software for assessments.
20. Manage workload to meet deadlines and customer expectations
