Data Centre Technician | Permanent | Up to £50,000 per annum | Wiltshire
Peaple Talent have partnered with a renewing client looking to recruit a Data Centre Technician.
The ideal candidate for this role with have experience in server build, deployment, and troubleshooting.
This role is full-time on-site in the Wiltshire area.
A key part to this role will be providing customer to support to clients ensuring service levels are maintained and the ticketing system is fully up to date within the data centre.
Deploy and maintain customized IT environments tailored to specific internal and third-party applications, utilising hardware solutions from a broad range of network, server, and storage vendors.
Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, adjusting configurations, and replacing hardware components across various managed infrastructure assets, including servers, switches, firewalls, and storage systems.
Set up, configure, and optimize intelligent power distribution units (PDUs) to ensure efficient power usage tracking and load distribution.
Previous experience as a Data Centre Technician, or working in a Data Centre environment.
Must satisfy the criteria for SC and BPSS security clearance, including successful competition of the necessary vetting processes.
A valid UK driver’s licence and access to own vehicle.
