The Opportunity
As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of driving operational excellence. You’ll apply problem-solving skills to deliver sustainable results, embed a culture of behavioural safety, and support engineering plans that meet business needs. From risk assessments to cost control and energy efficiency, you’ll influence key decisions and lead projects that make a measurable difference.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to develop and deliver engineering and CI plans.
* Lead and mentor colleagues on CI projects, embedding continuous improvement as a way of working.
* Ensure health & safety is integrated into all improvement initiatives and manage change processes effectively.
* Monitor engineering costs, budgets, and identify opportunities for savings and efficiency.
* Drive improvements in energy and water efficiency and support environmental targets.
* Maintain compliance with PUWER, SOPs, and audit requirements

* Relevant qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

* Knowledge of Health & Safety and Environmental management procedures, including risk assessments and safe systems of work.
