At Tempdent, we support and develop the next generation of Dental Nurses through high-quality training and apprenticeships. Were looking for passionate dental professionals to join our team as Workplace Assessors, helping learners develop the skills, confidence and knowledge they need to succeed in their careers.
Position: Dental Workplace Assessor - Full time
Location: Bournemouth but happy to travel to Isle of Wight as and when needed
Salary: up to £32,000 per annum pro rata for candidates with relevant qualifications and experience. For candidates that are not yet CAVA qualified, we will be fully supportive to achieve this qualification with a starting salary of £28,500 per annum pro rata.
This role is ideal for a qualified dental nurse with industry experience who enjoys mentoring others and wants to move into education and assessment.
As a Workplace Assessor, you will support and assess learners completing the Diploma in Dental Nursing, visiting them in their dental practices to observe and assess their skills in real clinical environments.
Youll work closely with learners, employers and the Tempdent team to ensure apprentices progress successfully and are fully prepared for their End Point Assessment (EPA).
Key responsibilities
* Schedule and carry out workplace assessments for Dental Nursing learners within required timelines
* Communicate effectively with practice managers and learners when arranging assessment visits
* Ensure all relevant clinical treatments are booked and ready for observation
* Provide constructive and supportive feedback to learners and employers
* Manage your own assessment diary to maximise assessment opportunities
* Maintain accurate and timely completion of assessment documentation
