Responsibilities: Working as part of an established team of household staff (housekeepers, estate manager and gardeners). Companionship for a man in his early nineties with mild cognitive decline and his wife (in her late eighties). Assisting with ordering online and basic correspondence. Driving the couple on outings and to their gym classes. Errand running. Managing medical appointments. Occasional food preparation and washing up after meals. Tidying and organising rooms. As hoc duties as required. Occasional overnight stays when the estate manager is away (up to 40 nights per year) in order to be the responsible person on site. 35 – 40 hours over 5 days including some weekends. The hours are not set so flexible scheduling can be discussed, for example to fit around study etc. Overnight cover from time to time. Generous salary dependant on experience.
