The Role:
As our Social Media Manager, you will be the voice of Ebony Jewellers across our digital platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to create and curate compelling content for our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok accounts that not only showcases our beautiful jewellery but also upholds our brand's sophisticated and established aesthetic. This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and a hands-on approach to content creation in and around the picturesque city of Chichester.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a social media content calendar in line with our brand identity and marketing goals.
* Create high-quality, engaging photo and video content that highlights the intricate details and craftsmanship of our jewellery.
* Write compelling and on-brand copy for all social media posts, stories, and reels.
* Manage and grow our social media communities by interacting with followers and responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
* Monitor and report on social media performance, using analytics to inform content strategy and drive engagement.
* Collaborate with our in-house team of jewellers and professionals to capture behind-the-scenes content and product showcases.
* Drive sales through social media channels, with the opportunity to earn commission on successful conversions.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices, particularly within the luxury and jewellery sectors.
About You:
The ideal candidate will be a creative and self-motivated individual with a passion for social media and an appreciation for fine jewellery. You will have a proven ability to produce high-quality content and a strong understanding of how to maintain a consistent brand voice.
Essential Requirements:
* Demonstrable experience in managing and creating content for multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
* A strong portfolio showcasing your content creation skills (photography, videography, and copywriting).
* An exceptional eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a high-end brand aesthetic.
* The ability to work independently and take initiative, as well as being a collaborative team player.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Based in or able to work from our Chichester location and on-the-go around the city.
Desirable, but not essential:
* Previous experience in a sales-focused role.
* A background in or a strong knowledge of the jewellery industry.
* Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools.
