Overall Responsibilities
* Detailing of custom solutions to match order
* Liaison with suppliers for parts manufacture for costs and with Workshop Supervisor for the organisation of Production and products on time to a high standard.
* Occasional assembly, as required, to enable review the design and manufacture of parts and subsequent improvement.
Specific Duties
* Preparing customer GA CAD Drawings for approval
* Detailing manufacturing drawings to fulfil the GA.
* Creation of BOMs for special products and procurement as required
* Workshop Liaison – to work with Workshop Supervisor to assist in the planning and execution of production such that sales orders are fulfilled on time, to the right specification and quality
* Maintenance of Drawings for continuous improvement of standard product.
* Customer Liaison on projects
* Other Duties as maybe reasonably required by the company to fulfil position
Skills & Attributes
* Conceptually sound solutions that can be manufactured economically and easily assembled
* Solidworks experience with the skills to work in 3D
* Ability to produce accurate detailed drawings on time for suppliers to work to
* Working knowledge of Machinery Standards
* Strong and measurable communication with workshop
* Willingness and ability to work as a team
