The Division: Our UK team focuses on integrating electronic control systems into Caterpillar products, enhancing performance and value through advanced electronics and electrical technology.
Job Responsibilities:
* Developing electro-mechanical control systems using quantitative problem-solving methods.
* Gathering customer requirements and creating technical specifications.
* Designing electrical system architectures and control algorithms.
* Developing software with model-based techniques.
* Planning and executing verification tests, including simulation and real-world testing.
* Troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
* Contributing to safety and compliance reviews.
Basic Qualifications: Strong technical background, preferably in mechanical, electronic, electrical, control systems, or automotive engineering. Other qualifications/experience considered.
Preferred Experience: Control system development for off-highway machines, automotive, marine, or military vehicles.
