We are looking for a seasoned Vice President of Business Development (UK) to spearhead growth and strategic initiatives within the UK defence and security sector. This is a high-impact leadership position responsible for shaping the company’s commercial strategy, building strategic alliances, and positioning our UK arm as a trusted partner in defence innovation.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a comprehensive business growth strategy for the UK market.
* Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers across government, defence, and industry.
* Identify and secure strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and major commercial opportunities.
* Act as a senior representative at industry forums, trade shows, and high-level negotiations.
* Lead and mentor a growing UK-based team, fostering collaboration and performance.
* Provide market insights and feedback to influence corporate and product strategies.
Experience & Qualifications
* Minimum of 10 years’ experience in senior business development or strategy roles within the defence or national security sectors.
* Established credibility and strong network within the UK Ministry of Defence and major industry primes.
* Prior military experience at senior officer level is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated success in leading large-scale partnerships and multi-million-pound contracts.
* Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Entrepreneurial mindset, capable of operating autonomously and driving growth in a startup-style environment.
* Collaborative approach, working effectively across multiple teams and functions.
* Proven ability to prioritise, manage multiple initiatives, and consistently meet commercial objectives.
