Senior Document Controller
Morva Recruitment are working with a leading contractor delivering a prestigious project in Somerset. We are seeking an experienced Senior Document Controller to lead document control operations while based with the design team in Bristol.
This is a pivotal role supporting a high-profile scheme where accuracy, structure and leadership are critical. You will oversee document control processes across the project, ensuring seamless coordination between design, site and stakeholder teams.
The Role:

Leading and managing a team of 4 consisting of Document Controllers and BIM team members
*
Overseeing document control procedures across a large, complex project
*
Managing and tracking high volumes of drawings and technical documentation
*
Ensuring compliance with project and client document standards
*
Working closely with the design team to maintain accuracy and version control
*
Holding regular 1-2-1 meetings with team members to maintain performance, clarity and accountability
*
Implementing structured processes to ensure nothing is missed
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Senior Document Controller or Document Control Lead on major projects
*
Strong team management experience (essential)
*
Experience overseeing both Document Control and BIM functions
*
Advanced working knowledge of 4Projects (essential)
*
Highly methodical, organised and process-driven
*
Experience managing large volumes of drawings and technical documentation
