Our client is seeking a skilled Personal Tax Specialist to manage a portfolio of clients in Norfolk, focusing on personal tax matters.
This role is part of the Personal Tax team within the Tax Department based in Norwich.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle complex personal tax compliance and advisory work for high-net-worth individuals, including advice on residence and domicile.
Quote fees, raise invoices, and manage your own work in progress (WIP).
Support Trainees and Assistants by overseeing their workload and providing practical training.
Collaborate closely with Tax Managers, the Director of Private Client Services, and Partners on complex planning matters.
Maintain a proactive understanding of current tax legislation, compliance regulations, and technical developments relevant to client situations.
Ensure all work complies with professional standards and contributes to the firm's Vision and Values.
Qualifications:
CTA qualified and/or ACCA/ACA qualified.
Minimum of three years of practice experience in complex tax compliance and advisory work.
Skills and Experience:
Strong ability to oversee and review the work of trainees.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with proficiency in Excel.
Working knowledge of accounting packages is preferred, but full training will be provided.
