We’re looking for an accomplished, astute and dependable PR professional with an interest in businesses in the international travel industry to join our friendly team. This is the perfect role for an existing Senior Account Manager who would like a change of scene, or an Account Manager who is ready to take a step up. Either way you will have significant experience in successfully and independently managing multiple client accounts, as well as managing an account team. Working closely with the senior team, you will be responsible for delivering PR programmes for global organisations, primarily within the B2B airport and travel retail industries. International travel to Cannes in October may be required, and there may also be opportunities to travel to other destinations such as Paris or Singapore. Alongside running your client accounts, you will also manage your junior team and be responsible for their development, helping to drive the growth of the company. Key responsibilities Client management – taking a lead on the day-to-day management of 3-7 (dependent on size and remit) global client accounts within travel, including devising frameworks for impactful client reporting and evaluation PR strategy – working with the senior team to create strategic PR plans and programmes for clients Writing – Writing all day-to-day written material for clients and supervising junior team members in the creation of content Industry expertise – Delivering sound strategic counsel, demonstrating a good understanding of our clients’ businesses and industries, and building trusted client relationships Event management – project managing the preparation of global trade events, including on-site press centre management where required Social media – managing content creation for clients (primarily LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube) Team management – Managing the day-to-day work and professional development of junior team members Crisis management – providing crisis communications support and consultancy Experience and skills required Personal specification – essential: PR consultancy background Experience managing multiple client accounts Strong writing & communication skills Confident and experienced in managing and developing teams Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments Excellent attention to detail Sharp organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks Enthusiasm to have the opportunity to run the press office at international travel trade events, which may involve working outside of traditional hours (such as weekends or bank holidays) Interest and belief in the global benefits of the travel industry Personal specification – desirable: Experience in corporate communications, B2B or travel PR Working knowledge of foreign languages Location Our office on Eccleston Square, next to London Victoria station.
