The Role
As a Year 1 Teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned to the Key Stage 1 curriculum
* Support pupils as they transition from EYFS into more structured learning
* Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment
* Assess pupil progress and adapt learning to meet individual needs
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
* Contribute to the wider life of the school
What We're Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
* Experience teaching within KS1
* Strong understanding of the Year 1 curriculum and phonics
* Excellent classroom management skills
* Passionate about helping every child achieve their potential
* Positive, proactive, and team-focused approach
