The Data Centre Global Services team is looking for a Controls Engineer for Construction (BMS/EPMS), responsible for building automation systems in Amazon data centers. The ideal candidate has a background in project/construction management, mechanical, electrical, or technology fields, with the ability to align building controls with business objectives.
Key responsibilities include deploying, maintaining, and coordinating control systems like BMS and EPMS, developing BOMs, ISA data sheets, drawings, logic diagrams, and supporting commissioning and testing activities. The role involves working both independently and as part of a team to develop and support products, and providing technical assistance.
A typical day involves on-site deployment, managing vendors, and coordinating with operations to ensure quality and timely delivery.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Understanding of electrical diagrams, control diagrams, building operations, control circuits, industrial HVAC.
* Ability to develop project scope and specifications based on customer needs.
* Experience managing scope of work, reading, interpreting, and implementing specifications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Success in leading teams in Controls, Mechanical, or Electrical construction environments.
* Minimum 5 years of field service experience with products like Siemens Apogee, Honeywell Building Controls/Trend, Schneider Electric PowerLogic/Struxureware.
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
* B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, HVAC, or related fields, with at least 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
