Purchasing Manager
Location: Long Crendon
The Purchasing Manager will oversee procurement activities, supplier management, and inventory control processes.
Key responsibilities include managing monitoring inventory levels, negotiation contracts and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
It is also important to ensure the timely delivery of quality materials to meet operational requirements.
The role requires close collaboration with internal teams and suppliers to align procurement strategies with company goals.
Moreover the Purchasing Manager assists the General Manager with budgeting and planning activites.
1. Strong procurement and supplier management skills, including negotiating contracts and optimizing supplier partnerships.
2. Experience in inventory management and cost-saving strategies.
3. Knowledge of sourcing and supply chain processes, with the ability to ensure timely delivery of quality goods.
4. Proficiency in analytics, including cost analysis and data-driven decision-making.
5. Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and suppliers.
6. Familiarity with the electronics or power supply industry and certifications is a plus.
7. Proficient in supplier management software and other procurement tools.
8. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, procurement, business administration, or a related field preferred.
