Job Description
West Dunbartonshire Health and Social Care Partnership are looking to consider applications for the post of Adult Public Protection Lead Officer. This post will be part of a Public Protection Team which includes learning and development, and audit/quality assurance. The applicant will have the opportunity to work closely with the Lead Officer for Child Protection.
The post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination, strategic planning and monitoring of Adult Protection work on behalf of West Dunbartonshire Adult Protection Committee (APC) and partner agencies; to promote and support all areas of work relating to public protection with staff and partners.

Requirements
This post is considered as Regulated Work with Adults and Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found
