Facilities Field Technician
Albany, NY | 33/hr | Temp-to-Perm | Company Vehicle + Gas Card

We’re hiring a hands-on Facilities Field Technician to join a growing mobile operations team supporting commercial facilities throughout Albany, NY. If you're the go-to person for fixing systems, solving problems on the fly, and keeping buildings running smoothly—this is your next move.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with competitive pay, a company vehicle, and gas card provided. You’ll work independently across multiple sites, backed by a strong support team and real opportunities to grow.
----------------------------------- What You’ll Do
* Perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire/life safety, and control systems across several facilities
* Troubleshoot and solve issues on the spot—whether it's a faulty pump, a misfiring AC unit, or electrical irregularities
* Calibrate, clean, inspect, and replace parts to keep critical building systems operating at peak performance
* Travel between sites with a fully equipped company vehicle
* Keep detailed logs of system readings, repairs, and adjustments
* Monitor contractor performance and ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
* Maintain compliance with safety policies, proper material handling, and facility protocols
----------------------------------- What You Bring
* 5–7 years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems
* Expertise in at least one area: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or central utility systems
* High school diploma or GED
* EPA 608 Type II Certification (Universal preferred)
* Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills—you know how to figure things out
* Comfortable with basic computer applications (Word, Excel)
* Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

* Experience managing multiple buildings or sites
* Strong attention to detail and self-management skills
Pay Details: 33.00 per hour
