We have an exciting opportunity to join our Diabetes & Weight Management Team, working across Fife to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred care. We are looking for a dynamic and forward‑thinking Dietitian who is passionate about making a difference and ready to take the next step in their career.

Whether you’re an experienced Band 6 Dietitian looking to broaden your specialist skills, or a Band 5 Dietitian eager to progress, this role offers the chance to develop your expertise in weight management and diabetes and contribute to innovative service delivery.


About The Role

You will play a key role in our team which delivers a range of weight management programmes and out‑patient services for people with type 1 and 2 diabetes.


The Post Focuses On

* Delivering evidence‑based interventions for weight management and diabetes.
* Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide personalised care and behaviour change support.
* Contributing to education, training and service development as we shape the future of dietetic care in Fife.
* This is a community‑based role with opportunities to work across clinics and virtual platforms, supporting a diverse caseload and engaging in service innovation.


About Us

Our Nutrition & Dietetics Service is a friendly Fife‑wide service with clinical teams in:

* Hospital Services
* Community Services
* Diabetes & Weight Management
* Infant, Children & Young People

We support undergraduate and graduate student placements (A, B & C), offer rotational opportunities for new graduates, and host fortnightly education and CPD sessions via Teams. Our service is committed to professional development, innovation, and delivering high‑quality, Dietitian‑led models of care.


What We’re Looking For

* HCPC‑registered Dietitian with enthusiasm and experience in weight management and/or diabetes care.
* Strong communication and behaviour change skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Commitment to education, service improvement and patient‑centred care.
* Ability to travel across Fife. NHS pool cars are available.
