Our PMO Bristol Southwest team is expanding its Controls community. We seek passionate candidates across all professional and managerial levels to support early careers, grow into leadership roles, and foster our values, especially 'Bringing out the best in Everyone.'
Due to regional growth, including new major programmes and clients, we are looking for flexible and mobile Planning, Scheduling, Performance Reporting, and Risk Management professionals to serve our local region. Travel within South West is required and can be discussed during recruitment. This role offers exposure to diverse sectors like Water, Rail, Mass Transit, Local Authority, and Shipyards, providing opportunities for professional development and bespoke client solutions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Tailoring reporting processes to meet client needs and align with best practices.
2. Delivering performance and reporting management plans based on project requirements.
3. Promoting the benefits of Performance Reporting & Analytics within project teams.
4. Implementing and maintaining reporting systems to track project controls performance.
5. Establishing a robust Performance Measurement Baseline with project teams.
6. Rolling out reporting calendars for consistent data delivery and analysis.
7. Collaborating with project controls and digital teams on data requirements and systems.
8. Developing and maintaining corporate datasets and providing data quality guidance.
9. Preparing governance materials for projects and programs.
10. Identifying performance recovery strategies for stakeholders.
11. Supporting KPI development and contributing to performance measures documentation.
12. Creating project performance reports and dashboards with actionable insights.
13. Preparing presentations for governance forums and reviews.
14. Participating in regional communities of practice and training team members on reporting processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience in a project or program environment is essential.
* Understanding of Project Controls interactions, including Scheduling, Cost Control, and Change Control.
* Proven ability to identify and document reporting and data requirements.
* Knowledge of Project Controls software (e.g., Primavera P6, Active Risk Manager, Ecosys) is desirable.
* Experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI.
* Understanding of data architecture and modeling.
