The Opportunity:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Wireman to support electrical installation activities within substation environments across the UK. Working as part of a site team, you will report directly to the Site Supervisor or Chargehand and play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical works in line with project specifications and industry standards.
Rates of Pay (GBP):
LTD / Umbrella:
First 37 Hours: £29.12 per hour
After 37 Hours / First 4 Hours Saturday: £30.87 per hour
After 4 Hours Saturday / Sunday / Bank Holiday: £33.65 per hourPAYE:
First 37 Hours: £21.54 per hour
After 37 Hours / First 4 Hours Saturday: £22.84 per hour
After 4 Hours Saturday / Sunday / Bank Holiday: £24.90 per hourMain Purpose of the Role:
Support site teams with electrical installation activities.
Carry out wiring tasks in line with Siemens Energy SoPs and client specifications.
Maintain a strong duty of care for yourself and others on site.Key Responsibilities:
Work in accordance with all QEHS procedures and site inductions.
Carry out wiring and installation tasks to required quality standards.
Read and interpret drawings and mark up where required.
Work within timescales set by the Work Party Leader.
Adhere to site Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Plans.
Complete task cards and submit timesheets in line with required deadlines.Experience Required:
Electrically qualified individual with:
Minimum 1 year's experience working on Substation Panels, or
2 years' experience on similar equipment within Power Generation, Oil & Gas or Construction environments.
Experience working within substation environments (e.g. National Grid, SSE, SPEN).
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
Strong understanding of health, safety, quality, and environmental legislation.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.Essential Qualifications:
