Principal Drainage & Flood Risk Engineer Location: West Yorkshire Type: Full-time, Permanent Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Principal or Senior Drainage / Flood Risk Engineer to join a growing infrastructure team. This is an excellent opportunity to take a lead role on a diverse range of private development projects, including commercial units, retail parks, residential schemes and complex highway-related infrastructure works. You will play a key role in supporting the business across multiple workstreams, providing technical leadership on drainage and flood risk projects while helping to shape and grow the team. Key Responsibilities Technical & Design * Lead the design and delivery of drainage and infrastructure solutions for private developments and associated highway works * Develop SUDS strategies and produce adoptable drainage and road designs * Utilise industry software including Civil 3D, PDS, MicroDrainage/Causeway Flow and AutoCAD * Prepare Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies * Undertake site inspections and attend technical and design meetings Project Leadership * Manage projects to ensure delivery within agreed budgets, programmes and quality standards * Provide technical leadership across project teams * Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs to achieve project objectives * Supp...
