Person specification
As a Finance Officer, you�ll be doing the following:
- Prepare invoices and handling payment�
- Raise purchase orders in Oracle�
- Review monthly information, bringing transparency and imparting valuable advice on financial approval processes.
- Become the guardian of compliance, ensuring that financial accounting processes are adhered
- Support the delivery of the financial cycle, ensuring we meet those all-important month-end deadlines, spend controls and forecasts.
- Review monthly financial reports�
Skills and experience:
Essential Criteria: - Experience using Microsoft Excel - Good time management skills� - Good stakeholder management - Organised and attention to detail� Desirable:�- Previous experience in working in a finance team

Office attendance
The Department operates a discretionary hybrid working policy, which provides for a combination of working hours from your place of work and from your home in the UK. The current expectation for staff is to attend the office or non-home based location for 40-60% of the time over the accounting period.
