CMAC is a world-leading medicines manufacturing research centre based at the University of Strathclyde's Technology and Innovation Centre (TIC). It collaborates with leading pharmaceutical companies such as AZ, Chiesi, Lilly, Pfizer, Roche, Sanofi, Takeda, and UCB to innovate in medicines development and manufacturing.
The Centre supports high-impact programmes including the EPSRC MediForge Industry 5.0 Manufacturing Hub, EPSRC CDT in Cyber-physical Systems for Medicines Development and Manufacturing (CEDAR), and the Made Smarter Digital Medicines Manufacturing Research Centre (DM2).
We invite applications for a Research Fellow (grade 8) to join the DM2: Digital Medicines Manufacturing Accelerator (DM2 Accelerator). This role involves enhancing research platform capabilities, delivering training materials, and engaging with industry partners to translate technology and knowledge into practice, supporting the development of digital technologies for pharmaceutical manufacturing.
The successful candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop and validate the crystallisation screening DataFactory and associated analytical platforms, contributing to the Centre’s innovative digital infrastructure for medicines manufacturing.
