With a strong customer focus and a collaborative team culture, we are now seeking an enthusiastic and organised individual to help us implement and maintain our MRP system while supporting key operational functions.
The Role
We are looking for a hands-on, proactive MRP Controller who will take ownership of our newly implemented MRP (Materials Requirements Planning) system. This pivotal role ensures the accuracy and efficiency of our supply chain and production processes while supporting administrative functions related to stock movement, order fulfilment, and finance documentation.
Duties
* MRP System Ownership: Assist in the initial setup, configuration, and roll-out of the MRP system; maintain system integrity and ensure it remains aligned with operational needs.
* Bill of Materials (BOM): Create and maintain BOMs to reflect up-to-date product structures and component usage.
* Procurement Coordination: Ensure materials and components are ordered in line with production schedules; monitor supplier lead times and stock levels.
* Order Management: Oversee the accurate and timely despatch of customer orders, ensuring full compliance with shipping and VAT documentation requirements.
* Documentation Compliance: Work closely with the Finance team to ensure all commercial invoices and shipping paperwork reflect correct VAT and regulatory information.
* Inventory Oversight: Assist in the tracking of stock movement and contribute to regular inventory reconciliations and valuations.
* Cross-functional Support: Provide administrative and operational support to the Managing Director, particularly in areas of logistics, stock control, and production planning.
What We're Looking For

* Creative and flexible problem-solver—able to think on your feet and propose solutions rather than be blocked by issues.
* Previous experience with MRP/ERP systems (implementation experience is a strong advantage).
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
* A positive, customer-focused attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed—this is a small, hands-on team.
* Experience within a regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
* Familiarity with ISO 13485:2016 standards is highly desirable.
