Overview
The Role: Preferred days/times are Saturday and Sunday. Times to be discussed at interview.
Responsibilities
* Support with all aspects of daily living including personal care, toileting, medication administration, keeping environment clean and tidy, cooking, meal time support, accessing community and shopping.
Client information
* Client main diagnosis: Sight impairment (registered blind), Learning Disability, Global development delay and Epilepsy.
* Communication: Non-verbal and relies on those around her to anticipate her needs.
* Moving and Handling: Wheelchair used when in the community.
* Pets: No (sometimes have a dog to stay for a few days).
* Client enjoys: Listening to music, animals, seeing friends, spending time outdoors in places such as parks or gardens, sensory activities (particularly water based ones).

Requirements
* Required care experience – awareness of following prescribed medication protocols, learning disability, personal care (such as washing, dressing and/or toileting), sensory impairment.
* Driving licence required – Yes.

Work details
* Hours per week – 9 hours per week.
* Hourly rate – Employed: £15.21; Self-employed £19.
* Area – Hinckley and Bosworth.
