Cleaning Operative
We are looking to recruit a Cleaning Operative for two of our static sites in Colchester, CO1.
1. Monday to Sunday
2. 1 hour per day, 7 hours per week
3. Shifts to be discussed at interview (Flexible)
4. £12.21 per hour Mon - Fri, £13.67 per hour Sat & Sun
5. Driving license and access to a car needed
What are we looking for?
6. Previous experience in cleaning environment is essential
7. IT literate (use of tablet, smart phone apps)
8. Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English)
Core Responsibilities - Cleaning Operative / Cleaner:
9. Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, hand rails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors and frames
10. Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops
11. Mopping floors with wet or damp mops
12. Hoovering of carpeted areas
13. Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points
14. Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use
15. Replenish consumable items. soap, toilet rolls, paper towels (if contractual)
16. Clean kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks
