ERP Finance Consultant | £60,000 to £70,000 | Remote Working with travel to client sites
Are you looking to join a fast-growing UK-based ERP solutions provider delivering fully integrated business systems to mid-sized organisations across a range of industries? Are you a finance professional with hands-on accounting experience who has moved into, or is looking to move into, ERP implementation?
In this role you will play a key role in designing, configuring, and supporting finance solutions that transform how clients manage their financial operations.
Responsibilities:
Lead finance discovery and design workshops with subject matter experts and accounting teams.
Configure ERP Finance modules — including GL, AP, AR, VAT, Fixed Assets, Stock Accounting, GRNI, WIP, Intercompany, Consolidations, and automation workflows.
Oversee the finance data migration process in collaboration with in-house migration specialists — defining scope, ensuring data quality, and managing validation and sign-off.
Deliver finance training, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and guide clients through go-live readiness and transition.
Act as the Finance Subject Matter Expert for existing clients — advising on best practices, resolving finance-related queries, and providing post-implementation support.
Demonstrate new features and promote best practices to existing customers.
Contribute to the development of internal implementation toolkits — including templates, checklists, reconciliation guides, and user documentation.
Collaborate with product and support teams to share feedback, suggest improvements, and influence future product enhancements.Experience & Qualifications:
ACCA or CIMA qualified / part-qualified, or equivalent experience in ERP finance implementations.
Must have strong, up-to-date hands-on accounting and finance experience, ideally gained in industry or practice before moving into systems or implementation roles.
3–5+ years’ experience in ERP or systems-focused finance positions (e.g., NetSuite, Business Central, Sage, SAP B1, or similar).
Solid understanding of UK finance processes — including VAT (and complex scenarios), GRNI, WIP, CIS, accruals/prepayments, debtor/creditor reconciliations, intercompany, and consolidations.
Excellent communication skills — confident leading workshops, explaining complex concepts, and engaging constructively with stakeholders.
Advanced Excel proficiency, with a strong grasp of system configuration and process design (no coding required).
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining precision and clear client communication.If you have the above and want to be considered, apply here now
