The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes.
This position requires proficiency in MS Excel and experience of accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) as well as a solid understanding of accounts payable functions. The Account Administrator will collaborate closely with various departments to maintain accurate data and support overall business objectives.
Duties
* Processing sales invoicing and purchase order invoices.
* Timesheet administration for payroll and cost tracking.
* Generating purchase orders.
* Liaising with suppliers to ensure inbound deliveries meet OTIF expectations.
* Updating and maintaining the stock records.
* Answering phones and handling general accounts queries.
* Order entry and general data input.
* Coordinating vehicle MOTs and documentation.
* Supporting the wider finance team.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in an accounting or administrative role, preferably within a similar environment.
* Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks
* Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices.
* Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 08:30am-17:00pm
Salary: Negotiable, dependent upon experience.
