What will you be doing?
• Managing engineering projects ranging from £50k to £2m from inception through to delivery
• Ensuring projects are delivered to timescale, budget, specification and customer expectations
• Leading multidisciplinary teams including hardware, software and installation engineers
• Managing subcontractors and specialist suppliers
• Holding regular client meetings and project progress reviews
• Managing project planning and scheduling using Microsoft Project
• Overseeing quality, environmental and health & safety compliance
• Supporting future business opportunities through successful project delivery
Where will you be doing it?
You'll be joining a well established systems integration business delivering advanced control and automation projects across the energy, utilities and infrastructure sectors. The business specialises in operational technology, digital transformation and critical infrastructure projects within highly regulated environments including power transmission and renewables.
What will you need?
• Project management experience within engineering, utilities, power transmission or another regulated industry
• Experience planning and scheduling projects using Microsoft Project
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Commercial awareness with the ability to identify and resolve project risks
• Experience managing subcontractors and engineering teams
• Proven track record delivering projects to time, cost and quality targets
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required
• NEC3 / NEC4 contract experience
