Job Overview
We are looking for motivated, customer-focused people who want to join our team as a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician. The role focuses on ensuring safety regulations and policies are adhered to, conducting preventative maintenance on time to a high standard, and providing high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
* Ensure safety regulations and policies are adhered to.
* Conduct preventative maintenance on time to a high standard.
* Provide high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement.
* Model health & safety best practices and monitor others to ensure compliance.
* Work in a hands‑on manner and demonstrate SME levels of knowledge on all MHE in the building.
* Coach and mentor technicians on shift.
* Support the line manager and supervise the shift in their absence.
* Provide high levels of equipment availability to internal customers by troubleshooting and prioritizing.
* Support continuous improvement of systems across the EU network in a standard manner.
* Develop and maintain good working relationships across all levels.
* Understand OEE and equipment performance metrics.
* Manage contractors.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
* High school or equivalent diploma.
* Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
* Experience in automated conveyor systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, preventive maintenance procedures, blueprint and schematic reading, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics, PLC programs, National Electrical Code, and work order management.
* Experience using CMMS to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Associate's degree in Mechatronics or a related technical field.
* Experience in vendor management.
* Experience with robotic maintenance.
* Experience leading engineering teams as a mentor or tech lead.
* Experience working with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM requirements.
