This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, however flexible working arrangements and job sharing will be considered for this role.
As the Head of Student Recruitment, you may be required to work at any of our campuses across Weston-super-Mare.
The Head of Student Recruitment will be responsible for leading, and delivering a dynamic, innovative, and inclusive student recruitment strategy that attracts and engages a diverse cohort of prospective learners across all College provision. Working in collaboration with the Director of Student Recruitment and Customer Operations, this role plays a key part in developing recruitment strategies and outreach activities that align with the College's growth, diversity, and progression goals.
Key Tasks and duties
* Lead the delivery of the College's student recruitment strategy, ensuring it is innovative, inclusive, and aligned to College targets and growth areas across full-time, part-time, and adult provision.
* Develop and manage a calendar of student recruitment activity, including school and community outreach, open events, digital campaigns, feeder school engagement, and employer-based recruitment opportunities.
* Lead and inspire the Student Recruitment Team, providing leadership, coaching, and professional development opportunities to ensure the delivery of a high-performing, customer-focused service.
Required skills and qualifications
* Qualified to Level 3 as well as holding Level 3 qualifications in Customer Service and Advice and Guidance.
* Experience of producing, managing and analysing data in order to improve organisational performance.
* Strong IT skills, including use of reporting data / student admissions systems / CRM / database management and development.
