We are working with an outstanding primary school in Barnet that is seeking a dedicated Reception Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis (4 days per week) starting in January 2026.
What You'll Be Doing
Plan and deliver creative, inclusive, and engaging lessons that inspire a love of learning.
Monitor pupil progress closely and use data to inform your teaching and support every child's development.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils.
Stay up to date with the latest educational practices through professional development and actively contribute to whole-school initiatives.
Promote a positive classroom environment and model excellent teaching and behaviour management.
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Relevant experience teaching within EYFS, specifically as a reception teacher with a working knowledge of phonics.
A passion for early years education and child-centred learning
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
A reflective, proactive approach and a commitment to teamwork
