Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Infrastructure
Location – Leiston, Suffolk
What you will be doing
* Contribute to creating a safe working environment.
* Utilise Oracle software to accurately report costs and value to the business unit.
* Evaluate internal expenditure reports and assess costs.
* Assist in the procurement process for subcontract partners, including bid preparation and evaluation.
* Produce subcontract documentation and manage change in accordance with contract terms.
* Administer subcontract works packages, including interim assessments and change management.
* Support the commercial team with payment applications, site record maintenance, and cost‑to‑complete data.
About you
* Good appreciation of standard forms of contract.
* Strong IT skills including Excel, Word and contractual and cost management systems (CEMAR, Oracle).
* Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
* Solid knowledge of construction processes.
* First‑class time and outcome management skills.
* Relevant degree and/or experience working in a commercial environment.
* Exposure to large single or multiple smaller schemes.
* CSCS appropriate.
